PROS OF Q300
* Looks great with Titanium or Steel tips.
* No drone, best exhaust to live with UEL Catless headers.
* Retains stock muffler diffuser design shape
* Not too expensive.

CONS OF Q300
* A bit too quiet if you're only going to do Cat Back. Better suited to a Catless header or Front Pipe plan.
* Doesn't shed any weight from stock. Pretty much the same weight.

*Indeed

*Meh. Stock catback isn't all that heavy, and you'll reduce parasitic loss reduction far more when you reduce rotating mass instead of static mass, for not much more than you'd spend on a lightweight catback.

^This. Just put on the Q300 a few weeks ago. Was initially disappointed with the noise since it was very quiet. I feel like the noise level has picked up since then and it's perfect now. Gives a nice rumble at low rpm's and doesn't make too much noise otherwise. Works very well if you're going to have to DD the car.

Ive a perrin 2.5 in resonated cat-back, with a OFH on the way. I love the perrin 2.5 resonated sounds, if I was just going for a catback, this would be perfect, but i didnt listen and went catback first, now i'm worried about the loud cold-starts.

if i had to do it all over again i would just keep the catback stock, w a uncatted header, or a super-quiet catback like the q300.

Im going to be installing the q300 with a catless front pipe so i think that will help to sound a bit louder

I have a catless header so I would imagine it'll still be louder than your set up.

Anybody who order from ft86speedfactory had have any delays with their shipping? I order the q300 with catless front pipe and i did not noticed that the item was going to be shipped from manufacturer (not ft86speedfactory itself). Plus i just got an email from ft86speedfactory and they said that invidia will ship the items in about two weeks from now.

Had to look around for my q300 as no one had it in stock.. I even ordered from a vendor here and they forgot to mention they didn't have the item which ended up in me canceling the order and waiting for a refund. Ft86sf is really good about their inventory status and usually right under the product name/description they have the "availability", always look for it, I learned the hard way but not with them. They're great with their shipping, at least that has been my experience. Your best bet is to wait because if they don't have it, im almost certain that no one else does..

yomny: "No one else does" .. sounds wierd. Shouldn't demand drive offer? Imho Q300 been advised in many cases to get noise level back to reasonable levels, when it's risen via rest freer flowing aftermarket exhaust bits. I'm sure you were not the only one looking to buy it ..

What I meant to say was Ft86sf usually has good inventory, if they don't stock it then there's a low chance many others will have it in stock this doesn't mean no one else literally has it, just a slight figure of speech on my behalf. With that said.. OP post some pics when you get it, its always exciting to see mods being installed.

Side note- I'm probably going to get a bigger diameter exhaust as I feel this guy is choking me up.. Just get the feeling from the sound that is not free enough.

I order this exhaust package on 5/1, the ETA that i was given by ft86speedfactory was 2 weeks. I got an email from them last friday and they mentioned that Invidia is having a lot of orders and that they need 2 more weeks for shipping the product wtf.. I know i have the wait and whatever, but i was already charged in full for the exhaust package. Anybody has have issues with delays shipping order from these guys?
