Ok...I need some opinions....I have the opportunity to purchase some OMG No Kidding Real suspension for some decent money...New these were around $5500...They are custom Valved, Billet Dual Adjustable: Rebound And Compression, Custom Camber plates. Inverted front struts with all the goodies...They are Custom Built KONI 2812's..

If you could...would you??? thanks for the input..

If you're paying $5500 for them, then I don't think it's really worth it, as that is basically a sixth of the car's value. BUT, this looks like some seriously nice suspension, so if it's for a good price and will suit your AutoXing/Tracking needs, then by all means, GET THEM!

Depends on price, condition, plus revalve cost. I think they need to be revalved to the spring rate even though they are adjustable, correct?

But like you say, they are the real deal and if pricing is good, go for it.

Ok...some more info on these...These are owned by the owner of AST who used them on the Continental Challenge Leggy back in 2010 ..yes the one built by Phoenix Racing..so they have a history ..Recently Rebuilt with the lastest seals/valving...Spring rates vary.. They will have Vorshlag Plates on them..the only thing would be to Weld a tab for the Sway bar link on them and they are ready to go... Price...lets just say they are reasonable from what they are Brand new.. and I would almost be stupid not to get them...working on the Details.... ..and they are completely available RIGHT NOW....Will let you know...

Pretty sure on those Konis you will need a revalve for the spring rates of the BRZ. They usually have a spring range that the base valving is suited for. If your BRZ rates fall into the same range as what that Leggy ran you are golden. If not revalve.

I talked a bit about this with Vorshlag... they say..that more often than not...the Shock should be valved to the springs...not the vehicle...which, I think is a pretty accurate statement.. before purchase of these Gems...I will talk extensively with AST about that particular concern..for sure..

That is what I am getting at. The springs rate for the BRZ and Leggy are probably different. So when you match your springs to the BRZ, the Konis will need a revalve for the new spring rates.

An extra cost to consider.

But once you're done it will be an epic setup.

I am going to talk extensively with AST about all the options to make these work...for the most part they will bolt right up... but some of my concerns are:
-Spring rates for the BRZ
-Valving for autocross vs. Roadracing
-Valving for the BRZ vs. the Leggy *weight*
-Preload/droop/travel are all concerns as well
-the tabs for the sway bars kinda worry me, we'll see.
