I daily drive and get rock chips etc.

However, when its spring its a full clay/polish/wax/detail, and filling in paint chips/wetsanding whatever it takes to make it minty again

The bumper is the worst, it has craters from stones on the highway... I'm pretty sure its made of the lowest grade plastic North Korea can produce

It was NOT worth it. Thinking I couldn't pop it back in, I nearly cried in the parking lot. lol

Oh noes! I'm sorry I live in fear of parking blocks because of the front bumper. Someday though I know I will run into one..

My car gets a wash, wax, and detailing. Shit does happen, and there's no point in flipping out over small scratches. I drove behind one of those pebble hauling trucks and I'm sure that must have done wonders to the paint.

I'm so OCD that I clean it every day but mainly with a duster so the dirt doesn't build up to thick on the car. I also bought a touch up paint pen for minor scratches just in case. I never cared this much about any cars I have ever owned when it comes to cleaning.

I don't mind regular things that are expected to happen to the car BUT I really hate it if the car gets hit by something completely avoidable (plus a couple nonavoidable annoyances). Like...

shopping carts
curbing the wheels
nails in the tires
going too fast and scraping the bumper on a massive dip
people keying the car
people accidentally hitting the car with anything making dents or deep scratches
a branch falling on the car
an apartment gate arm coming down on the car

As far as rain, sleet, snow, highway rock chips, lawnmower grass, dirt, mud, exhaust residue, brake dust, grease, etc: I'm fine with that, because that's an everyday DD thing.

I clean mine pretty often with ONR because it just looks so excellent all sparkly. Plus it takes all of a half hour on a weekend morning for a basic wash. Cup of coffee, clean car, breakfast, get the day going. . .

Speaking of cleaning it, damned birds shat on it today. Going to go get those off before the eat into the clear (while dinner cooks). . .

Edit - I can hear my wife saying the bird crap is justice because I've always said if I'm ever reincarnated as a bird, I'm going to fly around and deliberately crap on people and things for fun!

Some yes, just things that I've seen or heard of before from other people too though.

I'm no stranger to those. One shopping cart on this car, curbed wheels a couple times (fixed), who hasn't had a nail in their tire?, and well our cars are low so it's easy to scrape.
