Help me decide Perrin Resonated or Invidia Q300 Resonated

I have the resonated Perrin, with catless header. Yes it is load under hard execration but quiet enough when cruising at freeway speeds.

At this point im leaning on going with the invida q300 with the invidia catless front pipe. I found this deal for both producat at $937 from ft86speedfactory,

The Perrin will cost about $945 plus shipping (+50 if resonated?) Its an ok deal considering you get the catless front pipe as well.

Invidia is a very well respected company. I almost bought a q300 but ended up with a perrin non-res which I got second hand

Thanks, im really feeling that invidia q300 with catless front pipe setup.. asides from the sweet sound, will i gain some noticeable power?

Tuned, yes you will pick up some power. More with the q300 and catless front pipe combo than the Perrin alone. Might see ~2-6hp untuned.

I have the q300 and I really wish I'd gone with something a bit more(anything that means more sound). Its quiet, when I floor my car, I mostly hear turbo spool, engine noise and a very mellow sporty exhaust note. I have more drivetrain/engine noise than exhaust. Don't get me wrong, its great looking and it does a great job at keeping noise low but its also not 2.5" and that kills it for me. If you have any future plans to upgrade the car further go with the perrin since that's your other option or a Dezod which is cheaper and just as good as perrin, which is what I'm looking for now since the perrin requires me to use their front pipe if I'm not mistaken.

I think the main reason why I went with the q300 was the Ti tips then tone.. I wash my car every week and even like this I can't see those tips as clean as I would like.. they're all black now so don't do it because of that, sound will keep you happier on the long run.

Get it catless but resonated, otherwise you'll have rasp.. not bad but you'll hear it at startup.

I think the exhaust is catless resonated, im basically going to buy the kit that comes with the exhaust and catless front pipe (im not sure if the front pipe is resonate)

You are saying that the titinium tips finish do not last? ;( that'll be a big no, how long do you have your q300 for? also can you take a pic of how it looks now?

Had Perrin resonated, muffler is smaller so it is louder than Q300 but nice sound. Currently have JRSC, P&L EL header (catless)/op, Invidia hi-flow cat fp, Q300 and like it. Relatively quiet at low RPMs (fairly deep sound) but opens op with a little rasp at higher RPMs, never very loud. No drone. Perrin can will discolor with use, mine also got louder with track use as baffling material burns up. Everything gets louder when you open up flow from headers down (header, bigger pipes, less cats/hi flow cats, less restrictive mufflers) but you get some power.

With a catless header, the q300 is definitely louder than stock, but not too much and it gives a beautiful rumble on start.

I got the q300 because it was billed as the quietest aftermarket exhaust on the market. That's b/c my exhaust got pretty loud with the exhaust mods. All the other catbacks seemed billed for increasing volume on stock, not for keeping near-stock volume levels with exhaust mods. I wanted good looks, good sound, and near-stock exhaust volume so that I wouldn't attract the cops. The q300 does all that, while still maintaining a louder-than-stock (but not too loud) note. Great catback.

Did you get the q300 with titanium tips? somebody on the thread just mentioned that the titanium tips are black now .. And one of the reason on why im going for the q300 is the looks of the titanium tips...
