I looked at him. Didn't speak. I was honestly afraid he was going to stumble into my car or start randomly beating on it.

Not a fan of drunk people....unless it's me.

Went out to meet the NC86 crew in Raleighwood last week and on the way home we stopped off for gas before heading home and a guy came out of the gas station as I was walking away from my car and said, "your car is hot!"

I smiled and said, thank you very much. I will say there is something about DGM that looks very nice at night under a streetlight.

Last night we had another big meetup with NC86/Triad86 and a couple people even stopped off to chat about our cars, which was very cool. Even better, one was a police officer in his cruiser. Big car guy and entertained all of our car picture requests.

The other day driving home from work I had an Accord tailgating me, so I slowed up and moved into the right lane so they could pass. They move back behind me doing the same, and follow me as I'm turning right onto another four lane road. I turn into the right lane and they turn into the left - both the driver and two passengers are oogling the car as they slowly pass me. I can see them point and visibly discuss it. Probably, "what the hell is that???" Hah, debadging, ftw.

This was the best!! First of all, I am well past the average age of the members here. Anyway, I was driving through a student residential area in Austin when a very attractive 20ish young woman began to cross in front of my car without really looking. I came to a halt and let her cross, naturally. She gave me a quick wave as she stepped off the curb, which is par for the course here in Austin. What was NOT par was that when she reached the opposite curb, she turned around, gave me a big smile and an even bigger wave! Now as I said, I'm not that young any more, so I doubt it was my looks that got her attention. I told a co-worker about this and we both agreed: "It's the car."

A chick magnet!

It is funny how you read on here all the time "only dudes look at my car" and "this car is only a guy magnet". I have things like you just said happen all the time and am probably at least 50 - 50 on complements and comments from both sexes. I have had as many as 10 comments from women in one day before.
Everybody else just bought the wrong colour.

Took her to a carwash/detailer yesterday for a good wax job and buffing.

She was the highlight of the place, had just about every employee there come up and tell me how much they loved my car

So I guess I still get looks, I just don't seem to notice them much anymore. But whenever anyone rides with me they always comment on people staring. It seems the magic hasn't worn off yet!... Also the best part of having a sexy ride is all the discounts you can get. I got %20 off my tint job and 15% off a detail, just for letting them take photos of my car for their websites.

I've had my ultramarine fr-s for about two weeks. I feel like a local celebrity - nothing I've ever done has attracted this kind of attention!

though on multiple occasions I've heard girls call it cute -_-

Not sure about this Canada thing, I only get men complimenting my car. Women around here never even give it a second glance.
