Cool thread. I'm very seriously considering this kit. Have any of you had any transmission issues and/or have you upgraded your transmissions at all? What clutch are you running?

I'm running the redesigned Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch and Exedy lightened flywheel. The clutch is a little heavier, not too bad though and I haven't really noticed any chatter when starting up. It's pretty different from the stock clutch though, there isn't much room once it starts to engage. I haven't driven much with it yet so I may just need to get a little more used to it. I do get some rattle when decelling and 5th gear seems to be the most noticeable gear it happens in.

Is all the Exedy Stage 2 redesigned? I've heard some bad reviews? And also, what's the TQ rating?

I know some of you used the JDL UEL header for a while. I'll probably use that one because I love the sound. Lol.

As far as I know. I did have the 8 puck style on order from PTuning and they ended up switching mine with the new 3 puck style. The TQ rating I think is 230wtq. Or 300 to the flywheel or something like that. I'd have to look again. I think the older style was rated 399 to the flywheel or something like that.

Yup. I went ahead and ordered my header. Could be ordering the PTuning kit within the next couple of days. Last bit of research to do.
