Nope she has to sit out in the storm. Hopefully nothing bad, I really don't want to pay my deductible for hail again.

Ouch. If it's bad enough, go to my guy. I just filed a $2500 hail damage claim on the wife's Lexus. Didn't have to pay the deductible. He's the guy that did the rocker repair on my FRS too. I won't go anywhere else. Free loaner cars too if you don't have that coverage.

I live in Arlington. Most common meet is in Addison, first Thursday of the month at 7pm. There's a thread about it.

Also just did a few installs with a professional tech with his own lift at home. Super chill while installing, can get involved etc. drank a lil and chilled. Simple stuff so far but Ima have him do all my work now. Located in north FW. named Shawn. Hit me up for a number. He can install pretty much anything. Has done turbos etc.

Our car is a very easy car to learn on. I respect that some people want to pay for someone to do the work for one the headache and two, the work. but everything minus forced induction there is a DIY for our car. And as someone that hopes that the human race in general likes to learn, hopes they look it up and go through the hardships of learning :P |

I've installed other things myself. It's mainly the tools I'm missing. Plus a lift always helps

I would think that not having the tools is something that keeps alot of people from doing their own work. Plus somethings are just way easier on a lift versus jack stands. There is a place called Jack Junkies in Plano that will let you rent lifts by the hour for the DIY people if jack stands and laying on your back wont work for you. You can also rent tools for special things.
