Up visiting my girlfriend at college this weekend and came out to see, "I LIKE UR CAR" fingered into the pollen on my rear window.

Since I washed my car, the winter-long hiatus of compliments came to an end. It's been about two weeks and I've had probably 10 compliments, all resembling "nice car man" or similar. One guy yelled it to me while the window was closed.

Not sure I can handle all of this fame. I might sell it.

Drove past the strip of bars the university/college guys hang at this afternoon. Pretty sure the local hospital was flooded with neck injuries and people that tripped over things shortly afterwards.

Man in a Shelby Mustang at a Road Atlanta track day comes up to my after a session in the rain: "Dude you passed me like four times! What all have you done to this thing?"
Me: "Haha did I really? Well it's got an axleback exhaust...and a Perrin Crank Pulley."
Him: "That's it?"
Me: "Yup, still got the prius tires!"
Him: "Wow this thing is fast. I'll have to look into these."
...Sir you are sorely mistaken, but I will never tell >

Still having #UltramarineProblems:

Couple days ago, I was leaving my house when some teenagers were walking by. One of them stopped walking said "Holy s**t n**** that's a nice car".

Drove past a pickup truck this morning, and while I was passing it, a guy in the back seat stuck the whole top half of his body out of the window to get a look. Last thing I need is to run over an admirer.

My favorites are still the guys that walk into things while staring. Happens at least once a week.

Dear Forum, I never thought it would happen to me...

Had a couple of late teens tell me "Nice car, man!" A few seconds later, they come back and ask if they could take a picture of my 2015 WRB BRZ.

I actually feel a bit uncomfortable or embarrassed with all the attention my car gets. From kids to adults staring hard at it at the light or as they pass by. I just end up sometimes laughing to compensate for the uncomfortable or embarrassed feeling. The Yuzu color really is an eye-catcher. This is one of the reasons why I'm actually planning to have it repainted white after I get the JDM TRD front lip.

DUDE! Just wrap it. You of all people should know better. I know that you have no plans of selling it but that can change and you will have kicked the crap out of the value with a paint job.

Had a slightly drunk guy in his mid 50s yesterday have a whole conversation with himself (I think he thought I was talking back). Went something like this...

Him: "Hey mannn, what yarr is dat thang?"
Me: ...
Him: "Oh nice. I got a 2004 Malbu!"
Me: ...
Him: "Yor car is coo."

Disclaimer...spelling errors are an attempt to mimic what he was saying.
