http://www.marklamond.co.uk/misc/sca...ar_Engines.pdf Considering the amount of engineering poured into creating the BTCC SR20 Primera engine, you're not going to get anywhere near what they got: 310BHP @ 8250RPM with 197lb-ft torque. Quote:

Supercharger with bolt ons and tune are your best bet to get "close" But in the end turbo without properly building up the engine is a recipe for destroying your engine. It's really easy to just say "oh shit, for 5 grand and change, I can boost and call it a day" That is never the case, boost introduces problems and maintenance. Be careful if its a DD.

Boost is boost. The cheaper the tune, the more unreliable it is. OFT is great but it is not a one-size-fits-all tune. Every car and every engine is unique, most OFT aren't going to be precise. -alex |

No, boost isn't boost. Power curves, underhood heat (turbos do a much better job of cooking everything under the hood), etc. |

If you need to ask a question like that and you're planning on boosting or swapping... Yeah... Good luck.
But to answer your question, yes, it is possible: 1. Start materials research lab 2. Develop new materials with higher strength/less weight than anything currently available 3. Start combustion engine research facility 4. Hire large team of engineers 5. Use newly discovered materials to develop extremely high-compression engine which is capable of revving excessively high 6. Start manufacturing facility 7. Use manufacturing facility to melt down FA20 and manufacture new engine from newly discovered materials with newly created design 8. ??? 9. Profit

What if I told you.. You could affordably make 300HP NA on pump gas but it would result in your car being FWD?
Would you still do it?
