Toyobaru Badge - front or rear or both?
Hopefully this is not a repost, but the "Toyobaru" that was coined when the partnership with the companies started up about 5 yrs ago is really growing on me.
I even want to put that badge on my BRZ. I'm thinking on the front. I'll keep the rear as Subaru. Do any of you think this will catch on and a vendor will actually make and sell these badges? Which side would you but the badge on, Front, Rear, or Both? Should be simple enough to manufacture I would think...maybe.... yeah Toyobaru!

If it doesn't look ugly. I just kind of pictured it in my head, a mixture of a subie and a toyota badge. My imagination tells me its going to look hideous.

That's kinda weird to me man. The car is a subaru. The fr-s is a subaru. Leave the subie badges on or debadge without Toyo rebadge.

I'd get a Toyobaru if it existed (and didn't look like crap). Yeah, the car has a Subaru engine and is built in their plant, but I think the Project Leader who oversaw the development was a Toyota guy. In my mind, it's got DNA from both companies.
Plus, I'd enjoy having a badge on the car that knowbody could recognize. |

If I found the design appealing and the badges were quality I'd be interested.

Where I live noone has heard of the BRZ or FR-S. I think it would be funny to totally debadge so noone would know who or what makes the car and the model.
Just have to make sure they can't see the steering wheel or the center caps on the wheels.

Same here, debadge everything, just to say its rare or something stupid like that. I'm sure the JDM guys down the street will be the only ones to figure out what car I'll be driving. :happy0180:
