And Megaman... I played almost all of those growing up. The first Megaman X was probably my favorite... Ahh, the 90's were so amazing.

No to metranome cheat. I used gamseshark once I had my line up all leveled 100. Then I used it to increase their stats further and unlock some hidden pokemon, only one was never introduced though according to my little cousin. He has all my old gameboy games now.
And I used the link cable to do the evolve thing too, but then I mainly used it to take on others and put bets down. I never lost though, muwahahahaaa.

You didn't miss anything. Did nothing amazing for me imo. Except it could learn whatever moves you wanted it to teach if I remember correctly. Which gave me the idea at the time to adopt that method and teach my line up moves they weren't suppose to know.

That's the pokemon that screwed up your game if you caught it isn't it? I kept hearing that over and over and never dared to catch it. xD
