Spent the afternoon doing the final track season prep.
- New air filter installed. - Flushed the brake fluid with RT700 - Installed new rotors up front. Yeah, that was a pain in the ass. |

My Hachi hit the street tonight finally!
Swapped the stock turns back in with switchbacks (super bright!!) but my APR CF air ducts have some issues - broken threaded studs unimpressed with their mechanics of mounting these things - they look awesome from outside. Getting winjet oem-style fogs for now and will have to get a buddy to epoxy the studs back on the CF - nice to change it up anyway - right now it's the stock blanking panels. Got my HIDs working - stupid polarity of the stock connectors is backwards to norm - Toyota likes doing that - was the same on my Corolla ![]() Bumper back on just waiting on the "move over racing" bumper mounts to come in. I still have a long list of mods to do - but my eye is still blurred so no rush for the moment - maybe out to Friday night this coming week? :fingers crossed: Too bad I couldn't make it to CMP today but I'm booked May 23 for two hours anyway

For those who went to Bogie yesterday
QSIG, OrangeGuitar, CarGuy, Chico
Some pics, courtesy of Lapeetz Photography https://www.flickr.com/photos/lapeet...7651803717060/ please reach out to him if intending to use pics. Was a fantastic turnout! Over 200 cars attended, and a huge variety of cars and drivers (70-year old driving a Camry Solara to a Dodge Journey to a Gallardo. Saw quite a few twins there yesterday, some that I didn't know yet. Took the owner of a Red FR-S for some hotlaps and chased down a Release Series 1.0 yellow FR-S. Good driving even with the colder temps. |

I've been confusing the Ottawa Car Enthusiasts Facebook Group show/meet on May 23 at OC Transpo parknride Trim Rd 7pm with whatever is supposed to be happening on May 2 - so I want to know what's on May 2nd too!

Never got arond to asking but my bet is that it was never okayed with OC transport. Given that I'm currently dealing with them about using it for autocross they have said that they don't rent it out. It's been a long negotiation with them for us to potentially use it and still no answer other then the 2 'no' answers I've circumvented already. Hopefully we get an answer soon!

I installed that "Ajusto" app from Desjardins Insurance on my phone. I want to see what it thinks of my track driving on Friday.
