This is a nice build! It's too bad I didn't start my build from the get go, since now I don't have pictures to go with them from the beginning...

So I took a Lapis Blue 2015 BRZ (JDM only color) and put on the 86 fender badge, 5:AD spoiler and XXR 551's.
I tried to lower it but that's as close I could get. and yes I was VERY bored!! but my rendering makes me look forward to this car even more

Do you plan to install the lowering springs yourself or on a dealer?

Yeah, I'd just order them with the car if you're getting TRD

Yes I will do it myself as it's like around $700 for it to be done by the dealer and retail price for me.

Dude, nice thread! Gives me inspiration to make one myself since I am also waiting to get the car (though I'm waiting longer).

Also, nice info regarding the post about the lady telling you no one else will drive the car except the transport people. I should keep that in mind when the time comes to buy it.

Yeh, that was worth the trip to talk to her. Also I'm putting on my own front plate. NO WAY someone is drilling holes into my car!! :P

Nice build, sounds like you got a good plan goin!

I would recommend the perrin resonated catback exhaust over TRD, I've heard them both and the trd sounds basically stock, and wouldn't be worth the money (plus the expensive diffuser part for quad tip). I wouldn't waste money on the under-tray kit, it does not add a noticeable amount of aerodynamics either and is only slightly beneficial at really absurd high speeds, which our car can't even do. If you care about aero go with a functional spoiler like Voltex. Also check out drop in air filters. They give a good amount of hp for the money and are better than aftermarket intakes. Perrin steering rack lockdown, mtec shifter springs, whiteline transmission mount are all great cheap mods, master cylinder brace, and differential and transmission fluid (the stock stuff is garbage, it's a popular easy mod for a reason). Then look at 17x9 wheels, they seem to be best for our cars, and get some good sticky tires and it transforms our cars. Stock suspension is good, if you want to lower Eibach springs are pretty popular. TRD products tend to be expensive and are really similar to stock, and TRD springs don't even have much of a drop. If you want more power, cat-backs don't do anything really. Get a tune like Open Flash Tablet or ECUtek for 500$, and headers to get the cheapest horsepower after a drop in. These are things I wish I through on earlier so I thought I'd share some experience, I still believe in learning to drive a car stock but these really just make the car better in my eyes!

Are you sure about the "noone else will drive your car except the transport people"? Normally, the dealer should test drive your car quite hard to check that everything is fine. I am aware that some very premium brands do this test in the factory, but not so sure if this is valid for our cars.

Ask also your dealer if there are any voids in the warranty of the car with a non normal delivery procedure.

I'm not sure about the front plate, but the holes for the rear plate are pre-drilled from the factory. I changed lately the rear hood

As long as it's not being used as a test drive car for the masses, I don't mind the dealer testing to check if everything is fine. If I can't find a bone stock FRS (no dealer add-ons), I'll order off the website and ask the dealer to not let customers touch it when putting down the deposit.

Btw, sorry for spamming your journal OP
