I hit up an amateur drift event this weekend since it finally seems as though spring is here. I didn't participate but it was a lot of fun. These guys are a special breed. These cars get thrashed. I was one of two twins there and the other was participating. It appeared to be almost stock except coilovers and wheels. He did really well.

A few pictures from the day starting with a super clean S14.

The FRS shown drifting in the video.

The Tire lettering definitely adds a lot to the way the wheels look. Very Nice Pictures as well.

Love the white painted tire lettering on the sidewall. Makes it look like it means business.

How easy or hard was the installation of the Cusco Throttle Pedal for you? I'm really thinking about biting the bullet and buying this so that I'll be able to heal-toe much more efficiently.

Awesome Journal by the way. This Journal has definitely kept me from making the big jump from the stock suspension to aftermarket coilovers, considering my amateur level of driving experience, and I'll probably not appreciate the difference from stock vs springs vs coilovers if I do make the big leap. I think I'll probably pick up a set of the Hotchkis Springs later this fall and hopefully snatch a good deal on some used RPF1s', just to credit and mimic your build a little more.

Probably one of the easiest installs ever. Just don't try to be a badass and put it on while the pedal is installed on the car. Remove the pedal, (its only two nuts and an electrical connection) stick the black rubber piece over the stock pedal then install the pedal cover itself. It took me less than 15 minutes.

Go for it man! Its a great setup. I love my Hotchkis springs. They really brought the car to a new level.

A while back I started a group called CNY Touge on Facebook and its been a pretty good way to meet some people with similar interests. Here is our first "Mini-meet" we had on Sunday. It was super short notice but ended up being a really good time.

The NSX was there when we got there. We all wanted to talk to him but it looked like he was on a first date and things were awkward enough. lol

I noticed that the way the gas pedal assembly is mounted to the car allows for a little adjustment by using washers behind the assembly if you wish to move the throttle pedal closer. I like the pedal and it seems like it is going to do what I wanted, but I will probably add a washer or two to make it even easier.
so you use your heel to press the accelrator?

I was told HEEL TOE is actually an older method used on cars with accelerator pedals attached to the floor (hinge at the bottom).
While it is still called heel toe all it really is - is rev matching.
I was taught to use big toe and middle toe on the brake pedal and roll the side of your foot onto the accelerator to rev match.
Dunno if its right though. I'll have to try using the actual heal.

good looking car - looks similar to mine

I think it is all personal preference. A good friend of mine uses your method. I am a relatively small dude and have size 9 feet. The roll method is difficult for me when braking hard.

On certain cars I have to TOE-TOE (M3) and on others it's HEEL-TOE (911). I think as long as you're able to blip the throttle while maintaining brake control, you are fine.

OP I think your car looks great!

Also bought the Cusco sports accel pedal. Ever since installed ss brake lines and master cylinder brace I have had a hard time with heel toe since the brake pedal is so much higher than the throttle.

That's $1800 before 8 o'clock AM on a Monday.

Taking a half day today to install my Openflash Header! Expect videos soon!
OP any issues rubbing with the 245's at the track? I'm planning to run your wheels with 245 Pilot Supersport. On stock suspension. :-)

Stock suspension may be tricky. I BARELY fit those tires on the front and my camber is set to -1.7 degrees. I will be running at least -2 degrees as soon as I can pick up the Raceseng Cas/Cam plates. I don't want to be the guy that says it works with out knowing full well that it does.
