belt buckle dent - how should i cover this up
Gave a coworker a ride and he repays me by closing the door on the seat belt buckle which left this nice solid dent....
The paint isn't damaged, but because it's the rocker and how sharp of a dent it is, it's safe to say PDR isn't going to work. So i thought of safety grip tape to cover it up, but at the same time make it look oem. idk, what do you think? any other suggestions?

I would just leave it alone.. the griptape make's it too obvious that you're trying to cover something up. You probably won't think much about it in a couple weeks!

lol grip tape? Just leave it, or see if someone can PDR it with glue. Maybe they can make it look a little better.

Question: is your seat belt tensioner shot? How could it have stayed down there? -Will |

Not sure. I was thinking maybe it got wedged in the crease of the sling/loop and didn't retract fast enough. He was 6-4 so I'm sure the belt was extended quite a ways.

He's only a co-op student and an honest good guy who was really excited to ride in my car, so I haven't said anything. Guy probably doesn't even know he did it, so I'll just let it slide and repair/cover it up at my own cost. Kid only has a week left of his placement, so he's banned from my car for the next 5 days lol.
Yeah, I have an appointment on Monday.
