Brakes are on and bled! Brake feel is good... will road test them tomorrow... perhaps bed them. Wheels and brakes look great together... especially with the lowered suspension. Need to get an alignment... hopefully this week. Down to the details of my build until I go forced induction and decide on my aero parts.

Pics coming soon!

Modded up a easily removable grille for when I'm showing at a car show. I'll use the grille when I'm just riding around to protect the fins on the Mishimoto oil cooler and radiator, powder coated parts, and the finish on the Beatrush front beam brace.

There will be a small gap but like I wrote earlier... this mod is for protection when not showing. I love the open look because it shows off all the work I have done.

In keeping with my theme... I painted my Beatrush tow hook anodized red using Dupli-Color metal cast paint. I love how well this paint simulates anodized red... or any of the other available anodized colors for that matter.

Yesterday I made the opening in the tow hook cover and added a grommet to clean up the install. I will install the tow hook assembly tomorrow or Wednesday.

Picture does not do the anodized effect justice.

It took some drilling, filing, super glue, and the right style grommet to get the job done.

I happen to have an OEM firewall grommet around from previous projects. I hoard stuff like that... never know when you'll need it.

Snapped some quick photos of the 86 yesterday with my SLR and edited them on my Note 3 with Snapseed.

Anyway, yesterday was the first time my 86 had been out of the garage with basically all the mods I have purchased to this point installed.

It was dusty for sure but hard to tell in the pics. She sure needs a bath!

Better pics to come...

Finished up this mod now that my bumper is back on...Ended up polishing the Cusco tow hook base and lock nuts because the powder coat flaked off when I torqued them down with a crows foot. License plate back held up fine though.

For car shows I will remove the license plate relocator and cover the hole with a spare color matched tow hook cover I have.

The hole I cut out aligns perfectly with the Cusco tow hook base.

Should never touch but.... just in case...
