Yes, happens on mine as well, especially on low rpm with small throttle openings. Most of the time I'm able to drive around the problem, but sometimes it catches me out.

So is this jerking/Hopping at low RPM normal with this kit? I don't want to be chasing around an issue that has no known fix or is normal. I can't imagine the amount of people experiencing this have something really wrong. Who knows though.

Is anyone not have this issue able to post up some logs of 1-2 gear pulls. maybe those that have the issue can compare and see if anything is standing out. also post up a pic of what position their vacuum actuator is at might help to.

However, I might have more of an issue going on with mine. It seems the power doesn't kick in like it use to. maybe I'm just use to it, but I don't thing so. not to mention I just threw a cyln 2 misfire the other day.

I had similar issues as a result of poor tuning from a local shop. Lots of surging and bucking at low rpm/ partial throttle. Symptoms worsened with colder temperatures. Took the car to a shop with much more 86 experience and they said there was WAY too much timing on the tune (I was still on 93 octane) causing some knocking as well as other problems. I should note that the car ran fine on WOT. They took away some of the timing and adjusted some other tables (I'm no tuner) and the problem was completely resolved.

This sounds like tune related IMO...we've done some testing here along with @CK_Bladesmith (hence the callout) and there are some things from tuning side that greatly minimize it to the point where it should be a non-issue.

How does one go about getting the latest updates? I know Delicious keeps an active thread of changes and revisions, along with free and paid updates. I'd be curious to see the changes that are applied over the months and years.

Of course, I'm running fairly good and can wait for the latest tune revision when I order my flex fuel kit this summer.

If you're not having issues then it isn't necessary to update every so often. Because we've had this car in house for so long and it is the one driven most often, our tune has been solid for well over a year. But at times we may try something new to enhance economy, cold weather starting etc...and we may push out those features to new customers once we confirm they are working well here. But sometimes we find out that they don't play equally well on other combinations and that prevents a full on release. Another difference that our way of doing things means revising based on each customer's datalog. So that means working around knock feedback and reported AFRs. In those cases a global update makes very little sense since you're starting from scratch again. Power wise there's been nothing new in quite some time. Because we spent so much time on the dyno from the start, the top end has been very refined. The best thing I can offer is that if you have access to a wideband AFR meter, we can likely make more power by knowing the true AFR vs estimating.

Are you able to pinpoint the issue and tune it out via e-tuning as well? Or can it only be sorted out on dyno? Reason I ask is because this jerky feeling is not something that is easily explained to a tuner halfway across the globe who can't physically drive and "feel" what the customer is talking about. I'm not sure if it can even be seen or checked via datalogs?

I do have to say though that the recent Delicious tune update fixed most of the low rpm hesitation when accelerating for me

Hard to say since I'm not there to appreciate the stumble. I've had folks video the tach which helps a good bit. Sometimes we can see AFR fluctuations on the wideband.
