I know he's an ecutek master tuner, not just a vendor. I'd assume for the work required and $$$ invested, he'd prefer it. But I'll ask him. Will be there at 10am - whenever the he'll we're done.

I would recommend ecutek. I'm on Visconti flex fuel, perin bigmaf, hel header, full exhaust, and 4.556 final drive. I love the feel of NA

Surprisingly, I havent come across this information but is that around the limit to be expected with "full bolt-ons"? Not getting into anything engine internal kind of stuff.

Yeah give or take. I forgot to mention I have Crawford's billet power blocks too. With that and a tune I gained 21whp at 6200 rpm

Went for a spin in the dealers brz today.

Pro's: god, was it stable in the one good turn I had.

Con's: god, did it feel slow at all times.

He told me to drive it however I would. I gave it a little more and he told me "No... drive it for real, man."

I gave it all. Bounced it off the rev limiter a few times making pulls. I was able to take one good turn as hard as I could with all the speed I could muster and that really was on a whole different level of handling I've never experienced. So stable. I didn't even feel my weight shift in the car. That point made me really say "this really is a GREAT handling car."

I really would need to go f/I immediately for it to be "enough".... if it was good and fast out of the gate I wouldn't think twice. Take my money.

For the money it costs vs the money I make right now... I think I'm going to go a bit cheaper and save myself the trouble. Another year or two in the fwd tuner scene is where I'm going to stay for now I think.

I'll be watching the deprecation like a hawk. If these come down a considerable amount by next season, then who knows. More money saved up... more on the used market... after market prices come down a bit.... we'll see. Just not the right time for me.

Nothing wrong with buying a used one. Would save you a lot of money and sometimes even have a few mods done already. A friend of mine just had his for sale with full exhaust, suspension, programer, wheels and tires you could have bought for about 23k.

Yeah I was in contact with him. Same price as the dealer~1k.

Ive been looking everywhere for a fair priced one of all sorts of molestation. It's a still just a little too much to get into without being able to afford dialing in right away. I want one of these cars no question but it's going to have to wait a little while longer. I found a mint condition 100% stock rsx for 10k. I'm just going to start over with 100k less miles and do it the right way.

Baseline with Perrin e-Tune was 234hp / 181tq

Only main mods are Vortech Kit (stayed with original pulley) P&L header, Over, Front // Perrin cat-back
