Hello, everyone!

Been a while since I last logged in here.

Anyway, I recently encountered a common problem I've seen in other threads - Idle speed fluctuation.

Even with the AC on/off, it starts from 750-800 then drops to 400-450 then foes up to 1000 and back to 750. I read that some owners had their cars stall on them, thank fully I havent encountered that yet. So I was hoping to ge some Advise from you.

By the way, I recently had a new intake installed from TB to Filter (HKS) and A full exhaust. Now, it might be the intake (vacuum leak) but im checking that tomorrow. although from other threads I've deduced, actually more of guess work haha, that it might be:

1.a vacuum leak from the air intake
2. a loose unclamped hose care of http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...light=vac+leak
3. the position of the air filter, air might be too hot coming in (haven't checked Intake air temp yet though)
4. the MAF sensor
5. The ECU flash for earlier models (I got mine 2013) because of the idle problems owners have been complaining about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, folks

Do you have a tune? If it's still stock ecu, then it could be a vacuum leak. I would check for vacuum leaks first. If there is none, I would put back the stock intake and see if it would make a change. Did the idle fluctuation appear when you installed the intake?

@Martinnangel, i also encounter this pero paminsan-minsan lang.. di nga consistent kaya ang hirap pa-check kasi minsan, normal naman takbo.. what about you? consistent ba siya and you always encounter this?

@BRZ868, back in Manila? ingat palagi boss Joel!

@keb86, just PM @victorb, he's one of the current officers of the club, he can add you to both the open and exclusive group pages in FB

anyway, just search BRZ-86.ph, this is the open group

@alfredrey, usual shops that owners go to would be Autokozmetix (Ortigas, Pasig), Autoline (near Taft, Manila), Auto Junction, Auto Circuit, Garage One, JDM Select (QC areas).. just search them up in FB to find their contact numbers

btw, if you're looking for Cusco front strut bars w/ brake cylinder, i have a friend who has a couple of stocks arriving this week, just PM me if you're interested
