I like it better in the glovebox from an aesthetic standpoint but it is kind of annoying having to plug it in every time. Had this in my Audi and I always forgot to plug the phone in until I started driving.

Why is it that much better in plain view? I'd invest in an extra cable to permanently have in the car to charge your phone or whatever. Open the glove box and tada, your cable is there.

I got the USB in the front and I got the wire going INSIDE the glove box, lol

So kind of off topic, but somewhat related. I pulled my usb/aux plug out of the center and put it in the glovebox, perfect amount of cable to move it, now I just need to remove my glovebox and dremel out a hole so it is flush mounted instead of placed in the glovebox. For the empty hole where the usb/aux used to be I am going to add a rocker switch to power my radar detector on and off. Heres a rough idea of how it will look:

Anyone install a USB/aux in the centre console?

I'm curious if any of us Canadians have installed the USB/aux in the centre console, in addition to the one we have in the glove compartment. I'd like to have both available, but I'm wondering what wiring would have to be done to have them both functional.
