tokkodai '14 Firestorm FRS Journal
Latest photo from recent AutoX
couple weeks ago, had rear diff seals leaking, thankfully covered under warranty ![]() and ran like a champ with fresh oil in the diff ![]() Updated Apr 16, 2016 Hello everyone, I picked up my FRS July of 2014 brand spanking new, ![]() My FRS is nothing special when it comes to modifications list Mods list: Exterior: Muffler tips for $20 Interior: We are like wise extension and knob Engine and Drivetrain: K&N drop-in filter Motul 300 does that count? Wheels/Tires: 17x8 +38 Volk TE37 255/40R17 Bridgestone RE760 squared set up Suspensions: Tein Type Flex coilovers (prev. version of street flex) I hope I can encourage those of whom that are in same shoes as I was, wondering "how can I make my FRS more appealing, without going ham on my bank account?" The first day with 8km on the odometer: ![]() then came my first modification - bolt on exhaust tips that I purchased for $20 off of a local forum member ![]() ![]() Then I thoroughly enjoyed my car in stock form until spring of 2015 the bad boys rolled in - Tein Type Flex Coilovers ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now, after working on it for a couple hours on a Saturday morning, with huge help from a local FRS friend, this is how she sat for awhile with 20mm spacers all around. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is it for now - I doubt any mods will get added anytime soon though, that didn't last long.. then came my wheels from Japan - beat up as hell but fit the budget! ![]() ![]() then came the shit ton of photos.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and my favorite shot: ![]() and then.. running stock rubber became old, found a guy wanting to trade me a set of RE760 for my used stock ones ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I love how meaty the tires look and steering weight increase but definitely not loving the all the sidewall flex (like I know what that is ) and slower than prius acceleration. Hopefully this 2016 season I will take her to the track to have some fun. ![]() ![]() almost 2 years into ownership: daily driven through winters now clocking 60,000km done multiple road trips, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and still love her. ![]() Cheers !

Fronts: maxed out as in the lower collar (height) is right up against spring preload locking collar (second one). no collars removed. Rears: maxed out as in I cannot physically thread in anymore into the bottom cup. thread body is still plenty left from height collar to the preload collars but the bottom cup is pretty shallow on ZN6 application. No LCA. zero toe all around -3 camber fronts and -2.7 camber in the rear. I am looking at PBM LCA's to lower the back to even out the heights and bring rear camber to about -1.5 ish. Peter
