That is a possibility, however, you'd have to mark it as a gift in order for it to be tax free. And I'm not exactly sure of the legality of that

Usually USPS doesn't charge them but they can. If I order something from the states I usually request USPS. I used UPS once and had fork out an addition 70 bucks in fee's when the package arrived at my door.

Gotta love UPS's "brokerage fees", more like highway robbery. Something like 35 to 45% of the tax charged? All I know is that I try to avoid them like the plague. At least with USPS, when Canada Post delivers and there are duty fees, they don't add on anything extra

Yup I ordered TRD lowering spring for my old tC. I think I paid 250 CDN shipped then had that lovely surprise.

Always the best, eh? Thinking you got a slick deal, then getting handed a debit machine by the UPS guy, doing the math and then coming out behind what you would have paid if you bought inside of Canada

This has saved me a few times. Not 100% accurate but pretty close. Good to have an idea of what the duties are instead of not at all. Also some shipping does include duties and fees as well, usually express shipping.

Hopefully that helps someone out lol

I have one and it's perfect....that's my guarantee....leave me alone.

So I just did a quick test fit of the spoiler today. Fitment is spot on and the only thing I needed to do was debadge my brz(took like 5 minutes with a hot towel and floss). First time doing anything like this so the whole process took an hour from removing the oem spoiler, debadging, test fitting and then putting back the oem spoiler. Unfortunately, One of the oem screws holding the spoiler in place broke in half and is now sitting inside my trunk.... Also, a warning for anyone putting the oem spoiler back on, make sure the plastic tabs are lined up and havent shifted. I thought they were in a fixed positions so while i got 4/5 tabs in, I had no idea the last tab had shifted a bit to the right while I was applying pressure. Now I have a small dent on my trunk but the spoilers are cover it, so not that big of a deal.

I can confirm that the TRD spoiler does cover up all the oem spoiler holes AND on top of that, the optional screw on the TRD spoiler lines up with the holes on the trunk. Pretty happy with that as I was planning to drill a hole for those screws and now I don't have to!

Now i'm debating if I should wrap it in carbon fiber or color match it to my paint

As you can see, the Optional screws on the TRD spoiler line up perfectly with the existing holes on the oem trunk

Hahaha I put on mine on yesterday too...did you drill or 3M? I used only 3M and while I let it sit and secure it down with tape I always put my summer wheels back on too. Weather was too nice yesterday!
