Alaska FR-S/BRZ Owners

Anyone on here? I work at Kendall Scion in Anchorage and after selling a few FR-S, the owners and I have come up with the idea of having a FR-S/BRZ owners club for Alaska.

I'd agree, but considering I sold about 5 FR-S in just January, and there's quite a bit of FC RX-7s and Miatas running around...

Since Kendall owns the state and has access to sales and registration data, maybe consider a direct mail campaign offering something like discounted parts and service, tires, detailing, etc. for joining the club. Ask Scion corporate for co-op ad support. Then host a cars & coffee event with demo drives in an RS 1.0 on hand and Scion swag for club members. Take lots of pics and post here or start a new blog devoted to AK scenic drives hosted by your dealership. Offer sponsorship to sanctioned racers, nothing fancy, decals and parts discounts. Just a few random ideas, don't know how committed Kendall is considering the size of the owner base. Of course owning one yourself or at least arriving in one would help street cred too.

Owns the state? o.O

I could technically do a search on all FR-S sales, but I think I may be stepping on some toes if I tried to make contact with some of them, considering my position in Kendall. (Other sales consultants get possessive of their customers.)

Your idea actually is in line with what I'm thinking of pitching to my General Manager, but I think it would definitely help if we had Scion's support in this endeavour. I just didn't want the club to end up just being a marketing tool/outlet, and I don't know how well my GM and above will take it. So I figure having the club already put together would help support my case when I pitch it to my GM and above.

And definitely having one, myself, would certainly be a plus. That's why I'm trying to race against time to grab the FR-S that I want and bring it back up here by summer, which I know will mean sleepless (or lack of sleep) weekends working bell to bell and cruising with the club and other car enthusiasts after.
