I'd still trade my G3 in a heartbeat for an updated Sidekick.

I would glad to have the services you guys get! Service providers here have managed to stave off any competition and all of them suck!

OnePlus One user here... I personally love the phone. Made the switch from an iPhone 5S and have not looked back since. 3gb ram is awesome and 64gb of storage is plenty. Cyanogenmod works really well also. Have not had a single issue with the phone yet. I highly recommend it but I heard that customer service is pretty bad but I personally have never had to contact them for anything. I suggest watching some reviews on youtube to get an idea of how the phone works

I also have a Oneplus One. Yeah it's a bit of a hipster phone. For someone who doesn't want an iPhone, doesn't want a mainstream android (like Samsung or Nexus). It is cheaper than phones like the Samsung GS5 and it's specs are pretty decent and competitive. I paid in total around $400 and while I do love the phone, I miss having a plethora of case choices (I would like to get a Magpul case but they don't make one)

I thought abou this phone for a while, then my parents made the unanimous decision to go with Verizon so that went out the window, just waiting on the S6 now.

I wish there was a way to switch the radio receivers in the phone so it can work on CDMA. Not willing to take apart a brand new phone though to mess with it for something that 99% won't work.

The phone works and is supported by the T-Mobile network as well. For those of you that have never been with T-Mobile, the term "works" can be far-fetched with their signal (especially indoors). I'm not complaining though since I live in a major city and have a dirt cheap monthly bill.

Understood... But why is it called that? Why isn't it called one plus one equals two?

I would hold off for the next release, the phone is already a year old.

I love mine, and have abused the shit out of it, battery life is rediculous, I've managed to go 2 days on a single charge, unlike my GalaxyS4 which was a big pile of shit, and the battery barely lasted half a day..

That would just be irrational.

Word of warning for OPO owners... the OPO case does not protect digitizer from a dreaded corner drop... ( on concrete :[ ) Mine dropped .. the display survived, but the digitizer is history. New screen/dig set on EBAY is 67$ shipped.

I'll be getting a better case ASAP !

My only real reason for getting OPO is while using CyanogenMOD, I can enable 4g/LTE hotspot without the providers permission ! Also, the full blown Android security package is included ( which google pulled out of the OEM release )
