Yes I ordered mine with the remote. The remote offers several functions. OFF/ON and at least five to seven flashing patterns if you desire. It comes with all wiring, but you will either need to solder some of the wires to the SMD wands or use wire connectors like I opted. You may also need to extend the wiring to the drivers side if you choose the same location for install as I did. The blue is very blue, like 10k, so almost purple. I believe the white is around 6K, so it will offer better light with a soft white blue glow. Black to ground and red to battery. Completely controlled with remote. You could get creative and wire it directly to a switch inside the car or even a pushpin under hood to turn on when hood is lifted. I also ran wire loom over everything to protect the wiring and clean it up. The wiring on this kit is very high gauge, so you will need to be careful when cutting, soldering or using wire connectors.
Can you show how you wired it or make a guide of it? As far as I know there is no guide to install engine bay lighting lol.

Could you show more pics maybe in the dark just to see the color and how it shines on the engine bay?

I`ll take more pics of the wiring, the conectors I used and how it was secured. Will also take a couple more shots at night. It really is a no-brainer to install and I`m no expert The biggest job was prepping all the wiring with connectors, just time consuming. I wish I would have made the time beforehand when prepping everything to take the time for pics and step by step instructions

Here are some pics of the wiring, connectors and tools I used to install this. I also included a few night shots. They look really purple in the pics, but in reality the lighting is very blue with a slight ting of purple, so the pics don't do them any justice for how they really look. Sorry I don't have much time for a detailed step by step install on this, but I assure you it's very straight forward and comes with instructions for install.

Just a rough photoshop hack-job, but what do you guys think about a frozen dark grey metallic with red chevrons? I'll probably never wrap my car, but if I ~*were*~ going to...

Installed Whiteline rear subframe inserts, diff inserts, and trans mount insert yesterday. Holy crap guys. The car is amazing now. As many have said, these inserts get the power down more efficiently and make for a confidence inspiring experience. They're great bang for buck mods. Nothing is perfect though and I've definitely noticed the increase in nvh. But it's a small price to pay for the increase in feel. It's crazy good.

My setup: Stock suspension, camber bolts (crash bolts on top, spc on bottom), 17x8 wrx wheels (5mm spacer) and 225/45 hankook rs3.

tl;dr
Whiteline rear subframe, diff, and trans mount inserts FTW

Finally got the stock exhaust tips off by breaking the bands holding them on with the claw end of a hammer. Installed the DC sport tips, looks about 1000xs better!
