That's actually almost exactly when I left.

I actually like the breading at Hoovers a little better, but the chicken itself seems better at Lucy's. I'm on an ever-present quest for more fried chicken (because I sure gave up on a proper Fish Fry except for the tasty fish at Quality Seafood).

Hey guys, do any of yall use Groupon? There's a Groupon for a 2 month membership to Harris Hill & $500 off membership for $300-something. I need to read it closer, but it looks awfully tempting & a pretty good deal... Any Harris Hill members on here?


Also, it looks like rain for Cars & Coffee on Sunday. Just wondering, does the event happen rain or shine? I have to schedule time far in advance to get out & do "car stuff". I've had this on my schedule for a while, and am wondering if it gets called off for rain, or does it move to the parking garage?

If there's even the slightest bit of rain, every Corvette owner becomes a vagina and doesn't drive.

It's not rain or shine. They'll usually post on FB when its cancelled, but if it's raining in the morning even slightly, I would say don't go.

Awww man... Thanks for the info, you saved me a pretty decent drive... I'll be checking their page then, but according to weather.com & looking outside my office window in Bee Caves, it's not looking good... Guess I'll be fixing gauges in the Miata Sunday morning... yay?


Anyway, that Harris Hill Groupon is interesting. I'd love to talk with a member & get their perspective, I'm seriously considering it for the track time & it's minutes away from my house...

For the groupon I have no clue. My fiance actually bought me instruction time that I plan on using in early May. But yes I want pads and brake fluid before I go.

Yeah pretty much. I called Harris Hill before I bought it, the only tiems we are not allowed is when they have scheduled events - you can check their calendar on their site. I did a stop by there after Cars & Coffee yesterday, it's a pretty nice setup... And yeah, lol, I need to learn how to change pads on these cars too..
