Fitment is perfect, it's a direct plug and play swap (so long as you have the adapter harness for the wiring). I'll try to get some pics soon.

Honestly, I love the way that looks. How difficult was that kit to install?

Installation is very straight forward. The biggest thing was routing all the wiring so it looks clean. Here's a link to the kit I used, it's inexpensive and a very affective way to light up the engine bay when desired. Available in white or blue... http://www.ebay.com/itm/OPT7-Plasma-...39f007&vxp=mtr

I've had mine for a while and I love them. They're not as nice as the authentic ones, obviously, but they're clean and cheap. The whole kit is a worthwhile investment if you live anywhere that gives your car a beating (climates that see varied weather conditions).

Thanks for adding the STI emblem on yours! I've been sitting on mine for almost 18 months now. I need to apply them, and now I'm more determined to do so!

Personally I like the CS style extensions but the series blue style naturally fits the car. Looks good man

Yeah as ricey as they seem, they're very functional at lighting up the engine bay at night. I guess you could go with the white version and it wouldn't be considered as ricey. Not likes it underglow LOL

How did you install it? Did you get it with or without the remote and if you got it without the remote, does that mean it's on all the time? I don't have any technical skills or wiring tools so it's basically my hands only and a couple screwdrivers and pliers lol.

Does it just connect to the battery? Is the blue light blue or does it actually let you see inside like white light would? I'm debating to get blue cause my car is blue but I'm worried they may be too blue and won't make the engine bay visible enough.

Yes I ordered mine with the remote. The remote offers several functions. OFF/ON and at least five to seven flashing patterns if you desire. It comes with all wiring, but you will either need to solder some of the wires to the SMD wands or use wire connectors like I opted. You may also need to extend the wiring to the drivers side if you choose the same location for install as I did. The blue is very blue, like 10k, so almost purple. I believe the white is around 6K, so it will offer better light with a soft white blue glow. Black to ground and red to battery. Completely controlled with remote. You could get creative and wire it directly to a switch inside the car or even a pushpin under hood to turn on when hood is lifted. I also ran wire loom over everything to protect the wiring and clean it up. The wiring on this kit is very high gauge, so you will need to be careful when cutting, soldering or using wire connectors.
