Anyone up for a drive this weekend? I was thinking either 130 up to the Lick Observatory and down to The Junction or Skyline/Hw9 and stop at Alice's before or after for some grub. Open to other options also.

I might be able to go this Sunday. It's hard because I have to wake up at like 530 for most of these drives. There is like a 50/50 chance that I'll hit the snooze button.

Buddy is getting married in Monterrey next weekend. Haven't driven down that way before, best route for a fun drive?

if you have the time, take Hwy 9 south from Los Gatos down to Santa Cruz. Then Hwy 1 down to Monterey. On a weekend there may be a lot of traffic so it may be slow going at times. Down there in Monterey, I don't know the roads too well maybe someone local can suggest something around Carmel Valley and Big Sur. Hwy 1 from Monterey to Big Sur is certainly a good scenic drive.

For sure we always welcome new drivers to share the fun! nothing wrong with stock, just as long as you recognize that your tires will not be as capable as those of us who've changed them to better... so don't try to do what we do.
