The Lakers had OKC's number for several season's and how funny was that for Marv and Reggie to bring up the Supersonic's curse against LA and then OKC starts their 13-0 run.

If LA loses to OKC, the WCF would be one interesting matchup! Ultimately, I would have to root for SA in this case since they have SDSU's Kawhi Leonard!!



The 3 peat seasons were when the Lakers would dominate and be more consistent and even after the second return of Phil Jackson, it has been up and down; blown leads, PJ not taking timeouts and letting the lead build up, Kobe on the bench for majority of the quarter etc.

I'm actually impressed with the Lakers transition given the split season, a new coaching staff and a new PG trade. Even with Sessions, the PG role still needs help and Blake isn't the answer and the bench needs to become stronger.

I had hopes for Blake, and still think on the right team, he'll be good. But he shouldn't be the defacto PG; especially in the playoffs. I think he might have played more minutes than Sessions in the last couple of games. Even though he shouldn't.

I guess I am surprised they did this good. But yeah, they need a better bench, even though I like Barnes's hustle and Hill(!) as well. They just need a solid 3PT shooter because Artest isn't cutting it (although he is great on D).

They don't need to like him they need to bring their all every game. Gasol was being a little bitch. What happened Kobe spoke with him/called him out and he magically delivered. Gasol should play loads better than he does, he played okay this final game today, but he needs to bring his best every game. The whole team besides Kobe has talent but they just don't play to the fullest every game, disappointing...

You got it al wrong cause the Celts didn't lose 4-1.
As for last night's game, Kobe did try to put it all on his back... again. So I can't blame to much on Bynum, but even he's just as bad as that big dufus over in orlando. And hello guys but what do you expect from an euro basketball player, no offense to others, but sadly most are soft so I'm not surprised by Gasol's play last night.



As for my Celts, they still have a chance now. But even I'm still a little doubtful on the Celts winning it all this year. If they can get by whoever is at the ECF then they won in my book (I still have them this year rounding out in ECF). Then there's the dreaded OKC and SA. So if it ever happens to come down to SA and Boston then there will be series. If it was OKC and Boston then I'd just give it to OKC as they'll be able run harder than the Celts. But I don't want to get ahead of myself cause the Heat or Pacers can make it to the Finals as well.

I understand why people like you hate kobe blindly w/o logic, well, he does rape your team (whatever it is) one too many times....Im a lakers fan but do give credit to great players on rival teams at times because that what being the fan is all about....

There's no question Kobe will always be in Jordan's shadow. And yeah I absolutely agree Jordan was and still an A-Hole.
For me, I hate everyone on the Lakers, therefore I am a Laker Hater. So if Kobe transferred to another team then I would be open to cheer for him and that goes for anyone else on that team except artest.
And as a fellow rival fan of the Celtics even I know Kobe is a beast and deserves credit when he does. He works his ass off and that's why he'll be considered one of the best even if he doesn't get his sixth ring. But as of right now he needs a better supporting cast if he really wants to win one more in L.A.

I only hate Celtics b/c I'm from the West Coast and therefore, I don't like any of the East Coast teams, especially Boston teams-Bruins, Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox.

I used to give Pierce the credit he deserves but when he acted like a little bitch in the Finals with his whole wheelchair act, I can't see him as a serious player.
