They aren't SPT.. but part of the Accessory catalog for the BRZ ... Bolded the main part.. since they were offered on the "Blue"

Bill
Now, would that also apply to underbody panels?

They are on the Series.Blue (and you can order them at U.S. dealers now, don't have to order them online from Japan)

"The BRZ Series.Blue boosts the car's aerodynamic performance with black STI-branded front, side, and side-rear under spoilers, which contribute to additional front downforce, and underbody panels that, while not seen, reduce the coefficient of drag (Cd) from 0.28 to 0.27."

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but can you put the brz accessories on a a frs under the definition of a "model"?

What specifically are you trying to do.. for the most part, "No" is the general answer. and .. are you competing Nationally or just locally, which, believe or not does make a difference on what you can and can't do.

Oh absolutely, and I do understand that. I will not be participating in any of the big American events. Canadian nationals would be about it.
I'm looking at the STI sideskirts and other appearance oriented modifications of the like. I do know that there are provisions in the rules for "regional allowances" but there are none (formally) in my area. Obviously someone could argue that there would be performance benefits from some lips and other aero parts, but if you added up all the OEM stuff together I can't see there really being any appreciable benefit. Thoughts?

I am pretty sure you would have to use the Scion bodykit. don't think you can cross models just like the BRZ isn't allowed to use the TRD Springs and Swaybars in CS. The "one" would be what would be allowed on the FRS.. I think. not 100% sure on the Canadian Rules. is there a 'clarification' board for rules there?? if so, I would write them and ask..

Well, we piggyback on your rule set so I would probably be best off emailing the SCCA. Thanks for the input good sir!

Interesting. Have you ordered them from anywhere, I thought I saw Japanparts had them for sale as a set. I trashed one of my front underbody panels I need to replace anyways. Have you seen a picture of the series Blue with them, I can't seem to find one.

Japanparts still has them but it's $500 for the set before shipping. I found one US vendor with them for $250 but the shipping is like $150.

We can do the whole kit for 225 shipped. Will take a week or two to get it all in stock
