Summer tires went on today. Had to get my sister to bring them to me from 500km away since I'm about to start exams.

Now I must park the car until the snow goes away and it warms up winter isn't over in Halifax yet.

Fitted the DD boomerang DRL mod. Took about 10 minutes and looks fantastic. Highly recommend it. That and the tail as turn mod has made me forget about putting in aftermarket front and tail lights for the time being.

How plug and play was this setup? I'm looking at replacing the head unit for sure and want to get some better speakers in the car. Only reserve being that I don't particularly want to have a sub taking up space.

I did some MAF scaling today, did some more logging and still need to lean it out a bit for WOT stuff. Needs a tiny bit of tweaking in the part throttle stuff, but it's definitely made a nice improvement. I also added Shiv's JDL UEL VVT tweaks, which definitely seems to make a touch smoother power delivery.

edit: may as well throw in a virtual dyno run for shiggles. I'm not sure it feels like a 197hp car, but it's definitely satisfying. No massive torque dip like stock either

Ordered an OFT to go with my J2Engineering cat back and front pipe, picking up a tomei header and over pipe in the next couple of weeks

I ordered the OFT and literally had a shipping number in less than 2 hours, very impressive

This is the first time I've second guessed buying WRB... Damn it looks like blue/black chrome.
