My car is part of the first 86

The car is already paid for and is oficially mine

So the dealer cant do anything to the car and sell it to another person.

Theyre just waiting for me to pick it up

It all depends on the dealer. some are cool and guard the pre-sold ones while others try to encourage more sales by letting people play with the ones.

I am going to have my friend that works at the Vallejo dealer call me as soon as the truck pulls up so I can see them remove the protective plastic and junk.

Toyota Vallejo is pretty good across the board. That dealer is the main reason I went with a frs and not a brz.
The worst that may happen is someone may sit in the car.
Ill post as soon as as i have word on the car.

I know at least one dealer in the Sacramento area has one up for grabs. It was a first 86 car that the buyer backed out on.

What color? MT or AT? What dealer? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Its a MT in Ultramarine ... I didn't say the dealer, because I may be in for it.
I haven't secured my FR-S yet.
EDIT: Just FYI, Although this is a First 86 car, dealer said buyer will not get any First 86 Swag. :-(
