Oh, and my V-Bands broke today for no reason. Not having a great experience with this exhaust. My ebay "Tsudo" exhaust had fewer issues at this point.
did you buy it new or second hand? as far as i know the design has never changed.

Mine doesn't contact at rest, it's only under higher vibration conditions, like when its cold and high idle or under heavy load. I suspect the stiffer hangers will prevent as much movement and help.
