I purchased new gaskets for my header install, took the stock ones off and they still looked BRAND new (18k miles) so i just kept them on and saving my gaskets for the first time my car fails inspection heh.

For my install i just jacked up the front half of the car with 2 jacks on each side and installed the headers from the ground. Was my first time ever trying and it was pretty easy. No leaks after install. Took, like Robr said, about 2-4 hours just due to beer breaks and just worried i was doing something wrong.

So after(saving) lurking for approximately 6 months im getting closer and closer to being ready to buy, Just wanted to see if you guys had reccemendations of who do go to?

Ive bought a car from Sewell before and it was quick and painless. Test drove one day, left and over the course of three text messages my sales guy had me at the OTD price I wanted. So right now im planning on starting there. Would it benefit me more to go up to Plano since they probably move more volume?

What are you guys thoughts, where did you buy?

I got mine at Freeman in Hurst (due to certain reasons), but I like Pat Lobb in McKinney as far as customer service.

I bought my BRZ from Brandon Tomes in McKinney. The guys up there are very knowledgeable.

Just like @alucard7755, I got my BRZ from Brandon Tomes Subaru in Mckinney. I would highly recommend Patrick, he's the most honest and easy going (doesn't push you) sales guy I've ever dealt with and very knowledgeable!

Anyone remember when he started doing commercials with his dad a year or two ago?

He looked like a slob with unmade hair, untied tie, and drabby clothes.

Now he looks somewhat professional in his commercials.

Yeah Hiley sucks big time, would definitely drive where needed to get away from them.

I bought my FR-S from Toyota of Fort Worth. I really like that dealership, probably more than Freeman in Hurst which I already like and have purchased from before.

AVOID Toyota of Grapevine. Worst dealership ever.

Agree. Avoid Grapevine. Avoid Lewisville. Bought mine from Toyota of Dallas. Good experience.

picked mine up from Huffines subaru in Denton, VIP pricing so didn't have to deal with and haggling at the dealership. they guys were all nice there made everything painless.

Went to subaru of plano first and they seemed more high pressure about things and whether the BRZ was on the VIP car list. would not recommend.

I got mine from Toyota of Irving. I was in and out within 2 hours.

Avoid Vandergriff. I hate those fools. I tried to play games with me so I walked. Then they called me the same evening and I told them I bought one from Toyota of Irving for a way better deal. They hung up on me.

I have a direct contact at Toyota of Richardson. I would never have purchased my car there were it not me knowing him personally. Also, their finance department doesn't do a great job of putting up a fight with extended warranty packages so it's less annoying. Let me know if you want his contact information!

Originally test drove one of these cars are Huffines, but ended up buying in Plano.

Huffines couldn't keep them in stock and service wise I've been very happy with Plano.

Keep in mind pressure could just be that certain salesman.

Oh, and avoid Hiley, they're blacklisted for a reason on this forum.

I would like to offer some help, but can someone explain the rules of talking about a dealership?

Am I allowed to reply if I work at one?

Not trying to be a smart@$$
