The S2000 is a more affordable track tested vehicle that has pistons that move vertically with no complicated cam timing or direct injection to worry about.

I know you asked KingTut, but I DD my S2000 for 2 years and put 35,000 miles on it. Loved every minute of it. I had a truck for when I needed to haul things, so certainly someone who can only have 1 vehicle and hauls stuff regularly may have a different opinion.

CSG David and you know my struggle. ![]() Should have it back this weekend, actually. Going to be awhile before I get my confidence to go through that section at speed again. I have earned my big off moment badge, once was enough.

![]() Anyways, you'll need to teach me how to drive in autocross. I attended my first two autocross events ever...Nationals and ProSolo...with a street/track setup S2000. Guess how I did? I will say that it was fun not hitting any cones while basically hooking up every corner with a slide...I hope I don't get banned from Autocross...

However, here's one thing people don't understand with the BRZ/FRS...this car does teach you a set of driving skills that can be used on other platforms. I hope people can spend more time driving this car and really enjoying what the platform has to offer. Like seeing @SubiePig, I hope others will follow his path of just driving the car and enjoying what Toyota/Subaru has to offer. It's a great car in its own category. To be perfectly honest with the BRZ/FRS, the basic upgrades to the car has made it a blast to drive. There is a lot of stuff you can do to the car, but driving skill is what takes this car to the next level. There is a very distinct reason why we modify the car a certain way and it's simply due to the fact that it accents the positive traits of the car.
