Exhaust tips are typically held on with a single screw threaded from the bottom applying tension to the exhaust pipe onto which the tip is attached. My guess is that it's the same for the 86.

For that money you can almost buy a catback exhaust. Anyone who pays that much for tips is an utter fool.

If you are desperate just go online or even to Pep Boys (lawl) and buy a set for as low as 1/10th the cost.

OEM tips usually slide on a bracket and are secured with a bolt. Aftermarkets slide on and often have one or more bolts that either bite into the stock pipe or tighten the back of the tip onto the pipe.

Admittedly, that "Type A" fender garnish is quite good looking.

Admittedly, after seeing that chrome trim for the cup holders, I realized I would pay money for silver bezels on the HVAC controls for the Premium. They look stupidly cheap as is.

I saw one picture where they were brushed silver and it looked much better. Wonder how hard it would be to remove the bezels and at worst, try to paint them.

OEM accessories & tuning parts have always been priced at a incredibly high premium for all makes and models. However at this point, I wouldn't give a second thought about purchasing those items. Why? because it drives the collectors status points up the roof.
Especially being historical first year items, and those items will greatly increase in price as soon as the car switches to classic car status.

I'm sure prices will drop once they realize no one's buying them at these outrageous prices. The rear diffuser is $1049+250 for shipping? Dealer cost in the U.S. is $600. Can probably get one for less than $700. (which is already insane)

Who wants to make these for not $179+shipping? That's plain stoopid!

It's interesting that these are all from the same seller. I'm sure once other companies get in on this prices will come down. Also, they are located in Japan so I'm sure the price conversion is making them more expensive then they are to them.

They are also trying to capitalize on the fact that they are the only people advertising BRZ/FRS parts on ebay at the moment. Supply and Demand!!!

+10 HP combined lol

But seriously it looks like the buyer is in japan, i would say not bad if he was including the shipping with the items, but hes still adding another 39+ for ems frieght.

Every one of the items he listed we can get for a cheaper price with the shipping from japan included.

Just a heads up guys keep an eye in the vendors forum, i already have a lot of the oem jdm stuff listed and the trd.

We are currenrly waiting for the price on the Modellista stuff including the antenna, and the of course the exhaust tips everyone is asking about.

And if anyone is looking for anything specific please pm anytime

I could but I wouldn't. They'll add to much weight to the car.

And the price on that really is "plain stoopid."
