[quote=HachiRo;2188572]I'd highly recommend YouTube tutorials + getting a DSLR. An actual DSLR with interchangable lens. You can find good prices on ons like D3200 or T3i and such.

I have a good camera it ate the dirt offroading i'll get a new one would it hurt to ask?

practice makes perfect though...it just looks like you'll need A LOT of practice. even iphone shots come out better than this. im curious as to what this "nice" camera is even? maybe it is a legit camera and you just have totally messed up settings. check your ISO setting (if you have one on that nice camera) to see if it's too high. all the images above are way too grainy.
The camera I was using is old and ISO settings wouldn't help anyways

Tripod would fix most focusing issues. Or better/bigger lens.
You can use a tripod and auto timer to get rid of most of the shake.
You need to practice framing, don't cut off parts of the car if you don't need to.
Sideways pics are ok, just don't do too many. But the level shots should be level, pretty much none of your shots are level.
The weird fish eye is probably from automode or just the point and shoot camera lens.
your a jerk

I don't think anyone is "hating" on you. I know that criticism can suck to hear sometimes but it's also necessary sometimes to know what and how to improve. Good luck

Everyone has to start from somewhere... I used to do my "photography" with a flip phone and point and shoot camera(although maybe it was more okay for me cause I was a kid back then. lol). When you wanna get more "serious" with photography, I suggest upgrading your camera one day.

But nothing wrong with that! Just keep doing what you want and experiment/learn new techniques.

Dude, your replies are a bit immature.
Honestly, yeah you may have HAD a good camera, but that aside the pictures still lack in quality. You can have a 4000$ camera set-up but if you took pictures at strange angles with parts of cars cut out, you'd still be getting the same feedback. If your camera was that good, it would've either survived off-roading or never have been taken with you off-roading.

You guys read my first post cause honestly I don't think you did. My "immature" self made this thread for posting pictures of meets its not open for discussion. You guys decided to give me advice I didn't ask for I used a back up camera without a flash in a parking lot a good photographer probably wouldn't have bothered knowing it was a low lighting area with no flash! If you don't like the pictures leave it alone I like cars, I like to take pictures if I don't like a fucking car I don't say anything. Its their car so I say to each their own this thread is to post car pictures not to gang up on one member of this forum and you may say that your post are trying to help but I disagree. Here is my first post if you understand me correctly I mention my sony camera is messed up and I will be getting my ncie camera back it was expensive when go to the extreme to take pictures cameras get killed in the process. I am posing these for people at the meets not to show off:

Also if mature you will understand that when you say no offense followed by insults it doesn't make it less offensive so I don't mean to be a jerk but fuck off see? that does'nt help.

Id quoute more but it appears you guys have deleted your comments so it appears I have gotten some of you to understand my point of view.

You don't know me so don't assume you know my skills or anything else. I came on this forum to meet car enthusiast and help other FT-86 members that's what I thought a forums was all about.

@TripleThreat yeah that is a very good setup. You just need to frame/compose your pictures a little better than with your cheap camera and they will come out great.

If you plan to go off-roading with your camera again, I recommend a water proof bag/case or some sort. Something like this - [ame="http://www.amazon.com/DiCAPac-WP-S5-Waterproof-Digital-Cameras/dp/B0045T45L2/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1427863761&sr =1-2&keywords=Dicapac+USA+Inc.+WP-S10+Waterproof+Case+for+dslr"]DiCAPac WP-S5 Waterproof Case for Digital SLR Cameras[/ame]

Thanks I will try that apparently the sand got in the camera somewhere I used my video cameras and my sony camera for my company so its very vital I have it working. I never dropped it so im not sure how sand got in it.
