Looking at the colors of the cars being sent out, I wonder why my car hasn't been sent sooner? There are only a few red BRZ in that mix. It would be rather funny I were looking at my car in those pictures. HIGHLY improbable, but funny none the less.

If you don't have your VIN yet your car isn't in the picture.

The official "launch" date is June 1st. Continental Toyota got 6MT firestorm in a few days ago, but Toyota swooped in and took it back on the truck until later. My ETA was between the 17th and the 21st (for a different dealership) but that's just for the car to arrive in Chicago, according to DailyDealer (Toyota dealerships information program pipeline that gives them ETA, VIN, VON, order status, and other info about cars). The cars are being held in west Chicago next to a CSX autorail station.

EDIT: the one that has been delivered already mentioned in the post above is a BRZ. They can be delivered whenever they arrive, Toyota is the one stopping deliveries of the FRS

I know it's bad news, and I hope I'm wrong but I don't think my information is lacking. I want my car between now and the 21st but I doubt it until June.

No worries!

Glad to hear that your info was FRS related and not for BRZ.

That further reenforces my hopes to get my car this week.

Thanks

Me too!

Went in and got all of the paperwork redone since my order was switched over to vehicle the dealer had allocated to them by SOA that matched my basic vehicle configuration (Lightning Red, Limited, MT). Original paperwork was also void of pricing since it hadn't been announced. Financing is arranged @ 1.9%

As of yesterday morning, my vehicle had been unloaded from the train and was waiting to be loaded onto the car hauler.

As a fellow (future) LR owner when you get your car I ask you: Please. Post. Pictures.

As the pictures in the OP show, we are the rare breed within the rare breed, and have to represent!

Ask and ye shall receive. This is from when my dealer got one in about a month ago to check out/test drive.
