So about $60K...in that case I'd rather build a r-titled WRX for half that.

I think its worth to note -- the price for our market will likely be different. I don't know exactly what the cost would be (obviously) but I don't think it'd cost as much for us.

Lol fwd rally car.. WTF is the point of that?? I like how they referenced block.. Pretty sure his ford is purpose built rally car (4wd) not just a street car with some shocks, buckets and sequiential gearbox.. That piece of shit is a marketing tool also, but it LOOKS better than the xD both are poser cars IMO but (with the ford one being overly expensive for what it is.. Like it was mentioned, for that much a wrx can be built properly)

Hey hey hey... back off.

Where do you think they invented left foot braking and hand brake turns?

Every time I hear left foot braking, I think of Colin McRae's Ford RS200 (or Forcus... it was one or the other) vid. He had some skill!

It's cool. I just got a little antsy because my first car was a homologation fwd "rally special". An Australia rally championship (F2) winner might I add.

Either way, fwd & rwd cars were a staple of rallying way before awd appeared, and fwd cars made by marquees such as Mini & Abarth won many a rally before Audi showed up to the party with 4wd in 1980 (a good 80 yrs or so into the sport? )

The car world would be a better place if the FIA (hell even NASCAR) brought back strict homologation rules...

On a side note, already baffled by the point of Scion, what the hell is the point of or difference between the xB and xD? They're both boxes with wheels. They could've saved some body tooling costs by just making one box on wheels with 2 engine options...

Die Scion.

Come on....... the FR-S has to be priced more competitively than that. Most other sports cars are priced starting at 21-23K, 25K entry is pretty steep. And I'm definitely rebadging has toyota. can't stand scion badges.

I just want it to be produced as Toyota. Save a few bucks on changing the badges all over( steering, Front and rear Badge, probably Stereo system badge LOL on this one).

Doesn't rebadging make you feel dirty?

It really does. Kinda dirty in mentality rather than physicality.
