Not strictly in the GTA, but well worth the drive out to Cambridge:

If the colour is made, they can get it.

Two people I know have used Quy's Coating, one was for OEM BMW wheel repair and the other was complete powder coat of a set of wheels.

Op, stripping tech doesn't paint the entire rim but they do good work for a half decent price. On the other hand, quy does excellent work and paints the entire rim for a lot more money. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Op. There is a guy based in Toronto around Bathurst and Sheppard area that finishes rims and does a good job too. He operates a shop from the back of his place. I can't remember the company name. I have his contact info if you need it. Just pm me.

IIRC Quy quoted $150-$175/wheel for a basic colour, no clear.

Stripping tech did coat everything but the inside (tire side) of the barrels. IMO, not worth double the cost to have a part that will never been seen coated.

I messaged him (Stripping Technologies), but waiting for a reply regarding how long it'd take him to do the job. I probably should have done this earlier hah.

Who would you suggest I bring my OZ Ultraleggera's to for some curb rash repair. I was quoted almost 250/wheel here in Thunder bay and I'll be in Whitby next month.

I had my previous wheels coated by Quy and it turned out great! I think I paid $650 with clear.

why wouldnt you just have your rims painted? give precision rim repair a call. you'd be looking at roughly 125 a rim. had a set done by them... they do some nice work!

Funny thing is, I decided to plastidip the 57xtremes, I checked out the blue metalizer on DYC's channel and that's what I wanted to aim for. So gonna try it out, will be fun to do anyways, 4-5 coats of black then blue metalizer.
