I have a set of genuine out of production speedlines and my stock wheels. Some of us are very comfortable putting our money, or lack of, where our mouth is. I'd rather not modify a car than do it cheaply and poorly.

I'm plenty installing a shifter regardless of price... It's a shifter, not pistons or a turbo ffs relax.
Not sure I understand the "where or mouth is" comment? Do you eat money now? Baller.
The shifter is fine. The company is... I can't find reviews that day they are 100% shit. I've found one post/thread bad mouthing them. The other is praising their exhaust.
If you want to throw money away on a name I commend you for being mindless and childish. I can say the shifter is nice and id recommend it regardless of your hard headedness. If it breaks or sucks later I will be sure to inform everyone experience. You however can go on and buy a name for twice as much of you want. If I can't find a review on the product or the company and that proves they are 100% crap I may take a chance. The products I purchased aren't likely to destroy my car so its not that big of a deal changing the shifter is very easy (I learned that after keeping the old hardware).
Also the guy who says waste money on big names because names tells me not to learn on a series.blue? Well its not a Ferrari so I'm surprised you care.
If you have some stories about how terrible top speed is or links or friends stories I'm all ears.
Contribute instead of trying to flaunt your finances or w.e the hell your lack of a point is.

are you talking the common $700-900 speedlines or the $3k+ porsche speedline wheels?

Inexpensive parts are fine, poorly made parts are the danger no matter the cost. just because a part is low cost DOES NOT mean it's crap. Just because a part is expensive DOES NOT mean it's awesome. If this is truly a knockoff or a copy, then more direct comparisons need to be made to see why one costs more and one costs less. Are they literally identical? If so, is it just rebranded but made in the same factory, or is it a competitor that stole the design? Just because fraudulent businesses exist doesn't mean everything is fraud.

A shifter is a shifter, it's a dumb mechanical lever, there's not a whole lot going on here, so of course many designs are going to look the same or very similar. If two companies make blank brake rotors but one is $20 cheaper, then by this logic the more expensive rotors are better without question. To simply spout off claiming something is garbage because it's cheaper shines a bright spotlight on your ignorance. "You get what you pay for" is often true, but certainly not the rule. There's a real problem with elitists who genuinely think they are better than others because they paid more for something or they think they have better taste.

Cmon guys if you have an opinion that's fine, but please stop with the personal insults and the "you're not good enough for this car" BS. OP even said it works great once he went back to the instructions and reinstalled how it was designed. If he has problems, IF, then he will report back. Until then just share your opinion in a civilized manner, and leave it at that.

Yes great response and exactly what I'm trying to say. I'm just trying to help those who might be looking at it. I wish I knew more about the part. It looks like the others and the rear bushing looks exactly like the Perrin.
Also some companies need to start somewhere. I've seen it before. They are cheap until they build their name. Idk if this is the case with top speed.

Thanks for the response man!

That boot is the bane of my existence. Mine tore into a million pieces just by looking at it.

I couldn't figure out how to get the thing off at all. Nothing I looked up helped. So I tried grabbing the pin through the boot to see if it would help and screwed it up . Disappointed myself there haha.

F1's Kartboy Short Shifter install in the DIY section explains how to get it off. All you do if looking at it sitting in the driver seat is slide it off from the right side from the top hole opening. It takes a bit but very doable.

Oh well, whats done is done, but now you know for next time lol
