I wouldn't say I have abnormal vibration, I can just feel the engine a bit more through the steering wheel and pedal. It's probably just a product of having no flex joints and being sensitive to small changes like that.

Open Flash Header Discussion

I finally got the header installed about two weeks ago. I forgot how sloppy the throttle response and engine feel after a reflash. But now it's had enough time to learn.

Someone mentioned that there wasn't as big of a difference between stage 1 to stage 2 as there was from stock to stage 1. To be honest I don't agree with that. There is just something different about the engine now. It breaths easier and pulls much better everywhere. The power isn't on or off anymore. You don't have to be above 5k for the engine to feel alive. It somehow feels alive throughout the whole rpm band. It just feels more meaty everywhere. It feels like a 2.1 liter now or something. That's the best way I can describe it.

Is it common to have to tighten the bolts again some time after installation? I had my OFH installed maybe 3 months ago, and I believe it is the culprit of a new rattle and maybe some lost power.

are your logs indicating a leak?

Usually header leaks will throw a dtc code as well

What kind of signs would one look for in the logs in diagnosing a header leak?

Hey Robert! It's Tym from Chicago. Any update with the header arrivals today? Might need you to just send me the tablet if they still haven't come yet. Let me know!

Count me in looking for an update too. I don't mind the wait much, but giving a time table and not updating it when it passes isn't cool

Lol, while it is understandable, the logic in this statement is off the charts

I agree. I'm sure the product is great from all the reviews here, but the lack of communication regarding delays is aggravating. I ordered 5 weeks ago and starting e-mailing once a week at the 2 week mark and they always tell me its going to ship "next week". I have never received any notices about delays without e-mailing customer service -- if it weren't for all the praise here I would be must more skeptical.
