Hey, are you bitching at me about bitching at others for bitching about bitching?

Just watched the RC-F edition of TopGear, Clarkson hated the RC-F. Said it was a fat bloated pig, in summary, and very lurchy with the assists turned off. You could see what he was talking about form the track footage. He said it was so bad it wasn't even worth having the stig do a lap in it, so they didn't.
They did do a head to head drag race against the M4, the M4 4 walked away handily. Seems like they took and IS-F and made it worse.

Looks like a lump. Ugly and drives poorly-- not a winning combination.

Top Gear absolutely trashed the RC-F last night; anyone else see it? They hated it so much they didn't even bother to give it to the Stig to do a hot lap in.
Oops. just read like two posts up. Well yeah. I kind of expected this car to suck so I'm not all that surprised. M4 ftw!

FR-S vs Lexus RC-F
Chris Harris also dislike RCF in his review, thou he think it's a very good daily.
I think they forget the fact it's a Lexus... And they all end up comparing to LFA..... You know that's gonna end up ugly. |

Loved that top gear episode. He spent most of the time driving the lfa on his rcf review which I thought was hilarious. I couldn't agree more with his opinions

I guarantee The Stig lapped the RC F, and they didn't report the time because it would have embarrassed their agenda. I've owned both an FRS and an RC F, and I can tell you the FRS does not handle anywhere near as good as the RC F. The RC F is every bit as controllable as the FRS when pushed over the limits, and it is faster in every other conceivable measurement. Randy Probst ran both on the Streets of Willow, and the RC F was 8 seconds faster in one lap. 8 Seconds! I have to laugh at some of the comments on this forum ... Justification at its best! |

Also, I am willing to take the opinions of a (relatively) highly-regarded automotive journalist over someone who claims to have "owned" one (what happened, did you get rid of it already?) and has mildly trolled in the past. |
