Crota is a little less buggy, but going to orbit seems to reset things nicely, also making sure the sword carrier is host can really help sometimes. Getting into a HM session with veteran HMers is easy, just need to set it up in advance so people can see it and sign up.

Cool might try on the weekends sometimes, Although this weekend I have to prepare for a business trip. Crota was getting on my nerves for awhile with his glitches like the most awesome stand up super fast and cut a guardian down, or chase a guardian through the building. He literally ran almost halfway to where the deathsinger was and cut us down ridiculous lol. I will attempt to fully level my ballerhorn haha.

So dumb question. If you run normal mode on a Raid first after weekly reset, all the chests will spawn again when you run hard mode right? Or is it only certain chests?

Only some chests and most raid mini bosses and bosses are double drops (one for NM, one for HM).

The chests will still be there, but only some chests are considered double drops. So if its a one drop chest, like the abyss, HM will be empty. For double drop chests (like the exotic chest in the vertical cave after the Templar) you will get a second drop chance. If you run HM first, you get both rolls at once. Also, Ir Yut counts as a chest, but only drops once. Everyone thinks she should count as a mini boss (like the Templar) and have two drops.

Okay, that's what I thought I remember but since I rarely run the Raids I was just seeking some clarification. Got to run Crota HM last weekend and finished it and it made me start to think about how chests drop etc. Also, from my research, in order to get Crux of Crota you need to run HM first after reset and have the Glohoo shader equipped? I have an Eidolon Ally so thinking about trying to get the Crux at some point over the next month or so.

All chests will spawn again, but not all chests will give you loot again. Also, certain guns are only attainable through NM and HM. Primary weapons are dropped on HM, and Secondary and heavy are dropped on NM.

I believe you're correct. HM first with Glowhoo. Necrochasm is a turd but I also want it because it's such a unique challenge. Honestly I think that's how more exotics should be, go on special quests and build the weapon, maybe taking weeks or months.

I agree, it's not the greatest weapon but I've enjoyed getting it maxed out so far. Now I just need the Crux to upgrade it to Nechrochasm.

He doesn't show up until 3AM Eastern standard time on Friday.

Megaman used to predict what he would sell from data mining, but Bungie has since patched it. That subreddit thread probably won't be up until the same time Xur shows up.

Bungie has messed with Megaman, they had a small patch last week that has made it extremely difficult to predict him.

They changed Xur last week to give him Red Death, previously it wasn't even in Xur's loot table.

Prior to the change he was going to have Hardlight this week and Thunderlord next week.

It would be really funny if in their zeal to mess with Megaman they accidently screwed his loot table up and Gjallahorn dropped tomorrow for sale. Can you imagine the head explosion that would happen on the Bungie forums?

According to megaman the G-horn wasn't even in the loot table. Neither was Red Death.

So it could happen.
