Check out our vendor forums. There are quite a few really nice headers on the market right now, anywhere from $700 to $1800.

Check the stickies at the top of the engine & exhaust forum; there should a long thread with a bunch of youtube clips of various exhaust setups. go through some of those to figure out what style you're looking for.

An unequal length header will have more of a rumble than an equal length header. Catted will be smoother than catless, but also rob a little power. It might be necessary for emissions in your state though. Combine any header with a catback, especially an unresonated catback, will make the entire package louder. Resonators in the front and midpipes will smooth the tone out and help to eliminate any raspiness.

Watch the members classifieds for a while. I got OFH new for 575 shipped from a member who hadn't installed it. I also got perrin catback from infamous performance, they had a thread for feburary 10% off and free shipping sale in the vendor section. I got it for about 805. Maybe if you message them they will hook you up.

I chose perrin 2.5" resonated because it's supposed to be one of the quieter ones and I don't want to be an obnoxious neighbor.
