I really like mine and found that part of the high speed drone was because it was resonating with the intake sound tube. Plugged the tube and a pile of the drone went away (and you don't need to pipe intake noise in when you have the exhaust anyway).

Thanks for catching that. It was late and I put it in the wrong column. Thanks for the advice too, good point. I'm hoping the TRD intake which removes of the sound tube will do the same.

You will get much better sound with the intake. If you want save some cash though a simple high flow drop in filter works just about as well. You can still remove or simply plug the sound tube.

Dealer asked me if I wanted to keep the stock exhaust when I had the TRD installed. Also, it's quieter compared to most other exhausts I have looked up on youtube. To me it sounds similar to the invidia Q300.

Did you keep your stock exhaust finally?

You will not be disappointed about the quality, I have 40 000km now and 2 winters with a lot of salt and he still remain petty nice, no rust.

I made a cleanup and an little polishing after the winter because I like it clean

Enjoy!

Not sure what you mean by finally, but no I didn't keep the stock one. Didn't wanna deal with it.

Had the car almost a year now and I am still enjoying the sound

Yes, they're supposed to be there. You're fine.

Neat, thanks. I'm guessing it's to drain accumulated water? Inquiring minds must know.

Yes, because the edges of the exhaust tips are rolled in such that small amounts of water would otherwise have a hard time exiting. I suppose it might also be so that the exhaust gas can escape if for some weird reason the main tips got blocked.
