Check you ltft are not greater than 10% on E85 or about 5% on petrol and check Commanded AFR and AFR are following each other fairly closely |

Hi everybody.
Could you please have a look at my log (just cruising around the block with a couple of 2nd gear pulls): http://datazap.me/u/alpax/brz-jrsc-2...g=0&data=2-4-5 Those fuel trims look really scary! I'm running Jackson Racing SC with standard CARB tune, and have been trying to find an issue with my setup for a while already. Several times I got P0172 fault code, started logging fuel trims data, and found that LTFT is always too low. Fixed one possible vacuum leak a couple days ago, but it didn't seem to change anything. Any ideas where to look and how to fix that? Thanks in advance. |

Taken from another site: Running too rich – High negative fuel trim corrections can be caused by MAF sensor problems, high fuel pressure, leaking fuel pressure regulator diaphragm, faulty evaporative emissions components, leaking injectors, defective O2 sensors, exhaust leaks/pinholes before the O2 sensor, coolant temp sensor problems, and base engine issues such as low compression and incorrect camshaft timing.

Yes, idle is where they are way off. The AFR and other data is actually there, just disabled in the graph. Can you see it? AFR was 12.17 on WOT. Actually LTFT seems to be getting further down. I believe yesterday it was around 0 under load. I will keep monitoring. My car has got 20K km on the odometer, about 5K with SC. I still consider it almost new, so I guess normally it shouldn't have issues with MAF, O2, or exhaust leaks, or anything might have happened? |

Your front O2 sensor isn't scaled below 12.17 which is why it's pegged there, it's likely richer which is fine.

I wouldn't say Socal 91 is any good..I've already pulled timing to reduce knock. Going leaner may induce some knock if I'm right on the threshold no?

True true true.. Forgot to ask if you've backed off and added some richness.. were you knocking from tip in or actual advance/preignition or both?

http://www.datazap.me/u/colekmiecik/...log=0&data=1-5 Edit: The OpenFlash guys still haven't gotten back to me about the logging issues after they asked me to update to the latest software and I told them I did that already. Honestly thinking of just ditching the OFT and running the factory tune. |
