this leak was at the CBE, where midpipe met axleback. I don't know if I had a bad batch of gas, or what... but IAM no longer drops and tip in knock is significantly reduced.

I have a Tomei UEL along with the GS intake. Will I be fine running the OTS Stg2 with 93 octane? What about on E85?

The grimspeed intake maf scaling is very close to stock, so your pretty safe with that intake running the oft tunes even e85.

This just in: the best map for this intake with uncatted UEL headers is the OTS stg2 E85 map. Holy balls what a kick in the pants... :cheer:

Way better. Tiny bit of knock up top (7300RPM / 1.3+ load), and I mean tiny -.63 or less, IAM pegged at 1.. and is a bit rich at WOT.. so I'm tweaking that OTS map and will post my changes here when I'm done.

By the way, I'm going to be updating the GS + OFH stage 2 tune.. there's a bit of knock at 2800-3600 with the revised MAF due to the Primary OL table.. pulled a little timing and smoothed out the MAF scale. Will update the post and reply to this thread with it when I get home

Looooool. What is the main difference between the OTS stage 2 91oct vs E85 tunes?

It's huge.. major timing and fuel changes, MAF scaled for wide range of E content.. power all across the board, IAM pegged at 1, no real knock (little bit of tip in, but that's just fine tuning) and is in general just a whole 'nother beast now. The v2.06 OTS E85 UEL map plays VERY well with the OFH and g/s intake at least in my environment and using Shell E85

For some reason I thought you were suggesting running the OTS E85 tune for 91 octane (since you were tuning for that before). Makes a whole lot more sense right now !

Very interesting. Think it's good enough that MAF scaling isn't necessary? Or will MAF scaling be necessary no matter what? I have the GS intake but haven't installed it yet for fear of creating issues for a few extra HP.

You'd want to shy away from maf scaling if the actual E contact varies from where you get it

Rather adjust timing for any knock that may be being reported by the system.. shouldn't happen often on a prim and proper system with quality corn juice although don't take my word for it.. Learning as I go

I had very small knock events in the upper 7000rpms and some tip in down low that I've adjusted for @ the advance base B table

Also increased the heavy load areas in POL table to try and lean my AFRs out a bit as I'm getting as rich as 11.37 in mid 6k-7k loads

This is most of the work that needs to be done to have the v2.06 tune play nicely with the intake and header combo.

A side note, off-the-shelf tunes are often needing a rescale or tweak to get to work with your system, even with identical parts setups. This has many variables to it, but main variables are fuel quality and environmental conditions. Just some food for thought, hope you try it out. Let me know if you need any help

Do you still have this file available???
The link you provided seems not working.
