Changing the oil in my 210 this weekend so I called sprintex to see what they recommend besides redline 75w90, I forget the guys name but he told me about a guy named Jon Bond that developed a supercharger oil that lowers temps by up to 45%. He said he's used it in a shop car with great success. I called Jon Bond Performance and talked to Jon for quite awhile and bought some of his oil. It's called Tribodyne, and apparently he's been servicing superchargers with it for years and assured me it will lower temps as it does not foam like conventional gear oil. Just wondering if anybody here has experience with Tribodybe? If not, I will be happy to report my findings as a guinea pig!

You mean this? http://www.tribodyn.com/store-22.php looks like they have both a 75w90 and a supercharger full synthetic. Haven't tried it, but curious to know your results

I filled up with E85 and I have stage 2 with flex fuel kit. To be honest I don't notice much of a difference on E85. Not really any difference actually. 69mm pulley and stock everything (intake, exhaust, fuel system, drivetrain, transmission) . What am I doing wrong? Delicious flex fuel tune

You guys might also consider BG Ultraguard in your blowers or manual transmissions.

I'm personally very wary of oils, additives, and the cults that go with them. Some specialized oils work better in certain applications. Superchargers are one of those "certain applications". For instance, I love BG in AWD Subaru transmissions because it doesn't get gummy and it runs cooler. Royal Purple turns into toothpaste. Redline runs hot and can evaporate under racing conditions. Amsoil I'm not too familiar with, but Harley transmissions like it. 2-stroke racers swear by Klotz Benol oil when using methanol. You don't find these things on the internet. You find them by actually talking to people and getting your hands dirty over the years.

I've talked with Jon Bond and Mark Wheatley, both. He and Mark Wheatley developed the supercharger oil specifically for superchargers. Mark's stuff has been tested for 5 years in gearboxes, superchargers, and differentials. I like the data they both put forth. Jon wouldn't have cases of the stuff and use it in everything if it didn't work.

I don't have flex fuel, just 93 and e85 maps and when I switch to e85 the difference is very noticable. Did you run the tank low on regular gad before you filled up with ethanol?

If my understanding of the Flex Fuel kit is correct, then If you're running low grade or E that is somewhat or significantly less than E85 you will not notice as much difference since it will tell the computer to pull timing. I would make sure you're getting good E.

No, had about half a tank of 93 left. Filled the rest with E85. Used up 1/4 and topped it off with more E85. Just don't feel much of a difference

I'll have to wait for the Delicious tuning Bluetooth android app to see my ethanol level

Do you have an ethanol content display? Sounds like you are gradually increasing the ethanol content which would be hard to feel in the seat. If you made a more drastic change in mixture I bet you would notice (running 93 down very close to empty and then filling all the way with e85) that's how I have to switch fuels as I don't have flex fuel and the difference is incredible.

Yea, even at a content of e50 there will be a lot of timing pulled up top. I think the flex fuel tunes are pretty conservative at lower ethanol levels and rightly so. Much safer then just switching maps and hoping you got good ethanol.

No it's a Bluetooth kit, and the phone app isn't available yet
