Installed my 70mm pulley last night. Going from the 80mm, it sure makes a difference. I was most surprised at how much louder the whine is during normal driving. It of course makes sense but caught me off guard.

Add on the Moto intake and it gets even louder.

My build thread has some videos of the 70mm with metal Perrin intake and Nameless Performance metal charge tube if you'd like to hear them. Definitely brings out the lovely sound.

Sad day today as my Innovate kit gets shipped out to its new owner. Enjoyed it immensely.

Can confirm it is ridiculous-- louder than I thought but super cool.

Did you manage to install it with the shorter belt without issues?

I used the provided belt in the kit with no issues. Moto-East confirmed that belt would work.

It's not that ridiculous. Just full of character

Jokes aside it does have a lot to do with the pulley size and revs of the blower. Even with the 335 with the 85mm pulley it is actually pretty quiet. Even a mild exhaust drowns it out. With the 80 and stock exhaust it is like a maniacal sowing machine.

The 210 with the 70 is almost identical in sound to the 335 and the 80. Makes me want to throw the 72.5 on the 335 but something about ~25 psi and a stock motor gives me hesitation....It would sound pretty awesome before the rod exits I bet.

For those who had their bypass valve actuator fail; what were the symptoms?

I took the car out for the first time this year the other day. I use Torque Pro for some basic monitoring and my MAP was showing some really odd numbers. Max of 4lbs vacuum, with neutral or positive pressure with barely any throttle input. I'm concerned that the bypass might be stuck closed.

The only thing that makes me think that it might be a Torque Pro issue is because it was reporting a max of 12psi positive, and the stock MAP shouldn't be able to report higher than 5.5 or so. I'm also not seeing any driveability issues.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Try logging with ecutek if you can. Or even just use a back probe pin on the map sensor wires to see the voltage.

What's the reading at idle?

Idle is -3.8 to -4 psi according to Torque. I'll hook up Ecutek and see what it reports next chance I get. I forgot that I had that ability with the software.

Maybe a new update? My Torque app is all sorts of wonkers right now. MAF, AFR, and other sensors aren't reading right but ecutek logging is. Haven't really looked into it much in the last few days. Was just gonna reinstall and wipe out previous app data to see if it helps. It started happening last weekend.
